The TDEE calculator determines the Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) according to your age, height, weight, and activity level. It also gives accurate insights into your daily calorie needs for weight management.
How to Use the TDEE Calculator?
- Select the unit type between metric or US/UK.
- Enter your age and select gender.
- Now enter your height and weight according to the selected unit type.
- Choose the daily activity level. If you choose the first option which is Basal Metabolic Rate, the tool will only return a BMR result.
- Select the BMR estimation formula if needed. The tool will ask for your body fat in percentage if you select the 'Katch-McArdle' formula.
- Now press the 'Calculate' button to get the Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) result.
- The tool also shows how many calories you need to burn or take to lose or gain weight.
